Gender Equality Steering Committee

To ensure the effective implementation of the Gender Equality Policy (available on the Company's website) and the achievement of the objectives set out in UNI/PdR 125:2022 (which will be further defined in a dedicated Strategic Plan), the Management has established a Gender Equality Steering Committee as the governing body responsible for the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the Management System.

The Committee is made up of representatives from different business functions with complementary expertise and responsibilities, ensuring a cross-functional and collaborative approach to gender equality, inclusion and the enhancement of people.

Role and Responsibilities of the Gender Equality Steering Committee

The Gender Equality Steering Committee supports Management in implementing, monitoring, and continually improving the Gender Equality Management System, promoting a corporate culture based on inclusion, equal opportunities, respect for people, and zero tolerance for any form of discrimination, harassment, or violence.
Committee members are responsible for:
  • Contributing to the definition and periodic review of the Gender Equality Policy; 
  • Supporting the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan by defining objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); 
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of the actions implemented and proposing continuous improvement initiatives; 
  • Promoting awareness of gender equality and fostering a culture of inclusion, respect and zero tolerance towards discrimination, harassment and violence throughout the organisation; 
  • Reviewing reports concerning alleged cases of discrimination, harassment or violence in accordance with the Company's procedures, while ensuring impartiality, confidentiality and the involvement of the relevant functions; 
  • Reporting regularly to Management on the performance of the Gender Equality Management System; 
  • Ensuring the utmost confidentiality of all information acquired in the course of their duties.

Role of the Gender Equality Management System Manager (RSGPG)

The Gender Equality Management System Manager (RSGPG) is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of the Gender Equality Management System, ensuring its compliance with UNI/PdR 125:2022.
Specifically, the RSGPG:
  • Coordinates the management and updating of the Management System documentation; 
  • Monitors objectives, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and improvement actions; 
  • Coordinates internal audits and the management of non-conformities; 
  • Supports Management and the Gender Equality Steering Committee in the Management System review process and in their dealings with the Certification Body; 
  • Coordinates communication, training and awareness-raising activities relating to gender equality; 
  • Coordinates the Listening Service and reviews reports in accordance with the Company's procedures, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality
