Brackish waterThe ideal solution to desalt backish and sea water

Raccorderie Metalliche and brackish water plants

Brackish and sea waters must undergo desalting to become suitable for potable or industrial use, an extremely useful operation in dry and semi-dry areas and on islands where the water supply is poor. Raccorderie Metalliche developed and certified its own Pressfitting systems in the two most useful materials for such an application: stainless steel and cupronickel and the Pressfitting system in stainless steel.

inoxPRES, inoxPRES UNIKO

It represents the combination of stainless steel qualities with the benefits of the Pressfitting system.

It is highly resistant to corrosion, it does not release heavy metals and protect the main quality of potable water. Raccorderie Metalliche offers a wide range of 1.4521 (AISI 444) ferritic material pipes. Approved according to the stringiest European regulations, it is the ideal solution when affordability is as important as water quality.

Raccorderie Metalliche has developed another range of stainless steel suitable for brackish water systems: inoxPRES UNIKO (UNIKO profile – AISI 316L)

marinePRES

The range of pressfitting pipes and fittings, Ø 15 to Ø 108 mm by Raccorderie Metalliche in copper/nickel 90/10 CuNi10Fe1.6Mn alloy.

The marinePRES alloy is the best solution when the material intrinsic corrosion-proof features are required to assemble the plant. The use of marinePRES by Raccorderie Metalliche is suitable in general for applications in saline and corrosive media, as in time it proved to be extremely reliable. The system is suitable for plants with no drier. All marinePRES fittings are fitted with a green O-Ring in FKM, compatible with Class 1 and 5 plants (ISO 8573-1/2001) and PN16 approved.

RM Drain

RM DRAIN is the Push Fit system by Raccorderie Metalliche, consisting of a pipe and thin-walled fittings made of AISI 316L steel.

Push Fit is a coupling system that allows for quick and secure assembly. Furthermore, it is reversible; by heating the joint with a source of hot air, the fitting can be detached from the pipe. This system is particularly suited for conveying wastewater and contaminated water with organic, chemical, and corrosive substances, using gravity or vacuum. The certified Drain range is available in 7 diameters, from DN40 to DN150.
