Stainless steel AISI 316L

Materials Fittings are made in 316L steel and available from 15 to 54 mm. The fittings feature an 'M profile' toroidal chamber, optimised based on Raccorderie Metalliche's expertise, in which an O-Ring developed by Raccorderie Metalliche is directly mounted at the factory. This O-Ring is the result of patented innovation. The dedicated O‑Ring of InoxPRES STEAM is identifiable by its white color and is made from a special compound developed for this specific field of application.

Saturated steam systems
A fluid is in a saturated steam state when a condition of equilibrium is created between the liquid and vapour phases: in this condition, the number of particles moving from the liquid phase to the gaseous phase is equal to the number of those condensing back into the liquid.

Saturated steam is widely used in various industrial sectors, including the petrochemical industry, laundries and ironing facilities, the food industry, sugar refining, the cosmetics industry, the medical‑pharmaceutical sector and the hospital sector.

Such an extensive and widespread distribution system requires an innovative application solution; for this reason, Raccorderie Metalliche has developed its own Pressfitting system using the most suitable material for this application: stainless steel with a dedicated white O‑Ring.
