Caresses... not just on 8March

Raccorderie Metalliche hosted a performative reading at its Academy aimed at adults and focused on combating violence against women. This event was a literary journey through poetry, prose, music, non-fiction, literature, theatre, and performances, celebrating the female figure.
The event, held in collaboration with Teatro Magro of Mantova, is part of a trilogy designed to raise awareness about gender-based violence.
An extraordinary initiative aimed at sharing a moment of reflection, awareness, and hope.
Antonella Ceccardi - Head of international Procurement Raccorderie Metalliche
For several years now, we have begun engaging in activities outside of work. The primary reason we have chosen this type of eis to increase our staff's engagement, making them feel truly integral to the company and the Raccorderie Metalliche family. For November, we have decided to organise three new events focusing on violence against women, titled "To Say No". The final event is tonight, conducted in collaboration with Teatro Magro, named "Caresses not just on March 8th". We have decided to organise this trilogy of events to once again highlight this topic, which is truly very important.
Beatrice Biancardi - President of Equal Opportunities
The performance was highly appreciated; it proved to be challenging as the scripts were significant and elicited strong emotions. I currently represent CAV, the Life Assistance Centre, which is one of the three anti-violence centres in Mantua. We address violence and consistently lead in this area. As a lawyer and president of the Equal Opportunities Committee, I have engaged in dialogues about violence and discrimination for over five years. A message is conveyed to all to highlight the presence of subtle forms of violence that go unnoticed and are not the visible bruises we see. Starting from language, it is possible to not only change one's own thinking but also to alter or otherwise influence that of others.
Silvia Cortellazzi - Magro Theatre Actor
The central element of reading lies in the dynamics between masculine and feminine realms, encompassing their vast divergences: from love to hate, engagement to disengagement. As the narrative unfolds, it thoroughly engages the audience. It is not a light read; it challenges and prompts profound reflection. At the moment of final applause, one feels engaged yet uncertain about applauding due to the presence of both sweet love and a bitter conflict. Thus, the audience departs with a face of uncertainty, which is essentially what we aim to achieve. At Teatro Magro, the emphasis is on raising questions rather than offering answers.
