Packaging with recycled plastics

Raccorderie Metalliche worked on new packaging for its products: packaging in 100% regenerated low-density polyethylene. Unlike recycling, where the product is essentially destroyed and then assembled in a new form, the regeneration process involves the reuse of waste and scrap, without destroying them, to give life to products with a higher value.

This choice comes from the desire to comply with Legislative Decree no. 116 of 3 September 2020, which enforced EU Directive 2018/851 on waste, and Directive (EU) 2018/852 on packaging and packaging waste imposing that all packaging should be "appropriately labelled according to the methods set by the applicable UNI technical standards and in accordance with the resoluions adopted by the Commission of the European Union, to facilitate the collection, reuse, recovery and recycling of packaging, as well as to give correct information to consumers on the final destinations of packaging". Therefore, on our packaging bags there is the 100% regenerated logo.
