Second important stage of the first 50 years of Raccorderie Metalliche is the 1980. During this year the production and trading of the radiator plugs and accessories starts.
Even nowadays they are used in traditional heating systems with steel, cast-iron or aluminium radiators.

In 1980 also another important event happens. The first all-news channel starts: CNN!
The broadcasting TV revolutioned the world of news, granting news 24 hours per day.
