Let's talk about heating and cooling with Raccorderie Metalliche systems.
Pressfitting systems inoxPRES (316L stainless steel), steelPRES (galvanized carbon steel) and aesPRES (copper) with black O-Ring in EPDM can be used in hot water heating circuits and in cooling and cryogenic circuits.
inoxPRES and aesPRES systems can be used in open and closed circuits while the steelPRES system can only be used in closed circuits. The latter in use for cooling must be adequately completely insulated with closed cell foam.
All systems can be used for under-tracking systems (with the necessary protections) or at sight.
The size range of inoxPRES is 15 to 168 mm, steelPRES 15 to 108 mm and aesPRES 12 to 54 mm.
The maximum operating pressure is 16 Bar. The operating temperature range is -20°c to +120°c.
Pressfitting systems for heating and cooling applications are quick to install with reduced assembling times, thus being very convenient compared to traditional welding systems.
