The SteelPRES press fitting system with black EPDM sealing rings is used for closed hot water heating systems in accordance with DIN 4751 which have a flow temperature up to max. 120° centigrade and max PN 16.
Raccorderie Metalliche offers a comprehensive shaped fitting series in the dimension range from 12 - 108 mm OD, together with tubing, pressing tools and accessories. |

| Cooling and refrigeration circuits |
|
|
|
|
|
Cooling and refrigeration circuits are only permitted in closed version with operating temperatures between -20°/+120° centigrade, using the black EPDM sealing ring.
The use of anti-corrosion or antifreeze additives requires the approval of Raccorderie Metalliche. |

SteelPRES press fitting system is suitable to PN16 till ø54 mm, PN10 ø76 ÷ ø108 compressed air piping. For plants containing residual Class 1 ÷ 4, using black EPDM O-ring; for installations containing residue Class 5, use green FKM O-ring.
If it is necessary clean compressed air (without a trace of silicone), the SteelPRES system is not suitable. |

| Vacuum and solar installations |
|
|
|
|
|
SteelPRES with green FKM sealing ring for higher temperature and oil resistance is suitable for:
• Vacuum piping up to 200 mbar absolute.
• Inert Gases (i. e. carbon dioxide, nitrogen).
• Solar plants. |

| SteelPRES press fitting system (version with red MVQ O-ring, dimensional range from Ø22 up to Ø54 mm) is certified VdS (PN 16) and FM (PN 12,5) for sprinkler plants. |
