Campitello head office

In 1971 Mr Pierluigi Ceccardi founded the Company "Raccorderie Metalliche" with the aim to market "Zinc coated pipe fittings and Steel elbows". Later on, the range of our products was increased with our own production and particularly with: Elbows, Couplings, Valves, Pipe fittings, Brackets, Collars, Caps for radiators.

In 1980 the Company was turned into a Limited Company with a current Registered Capital of Lit. 800 milions. Since 1983, the commercial structure of the Company, already present on the whole italian territory, expanded successfully also on the European Markets, that represent now a 40% of the total turnover.

In 1985, the technologic and managerial development of the Company, allowed to double the production capacity and to increase the number of the products.
The present management structure, consisting of 90 persons, and a continuous investment programme for new plants and equipment, more and more automated, represent a production capacity that will allow a further economic expansion.

Motor vehicles at the shipping department

In 1987, with the construction of a new shipping department of 4500 sqm and new sale offices, a new phase of development programmes planned by the Company, has been realized.
At the same time, a consistent engagement for the optional rationalization of the Company's resources, will allow improving the quality of our products and services, in order to meet any requirement of Italian and foreign customers.

In 1990, for always being more efficient with our customers, the Company acquired a factory for sockets' production, which is equipped with highly automatized lines. Moreover the Company realized in province of Mantua a new production's unit about 13,500 sqm; of these 4.500 sqm are covered and in this unit the Company works out sockets and barrel nipples. For a better guarantee of the third party and also for permiting a continuous development of our activity, the registered capital about Lit. 800,000,000 has been increased to Lit. 5,000,000,000.
In the total work reorganisation project, the present staff has been integrated with 130 units for achieving - if well as possible - that indispensable "Total Quality" for a more particular market and for being more competitive.

Elbows production department

In 1992, beginning of our stainless steel fittings production by our new very modern plants. Acquisition of another factory of sleeves which allows "Raccorderie Metalliche" to become the number one in Italy, for this products.

In 1993, installation of the second line for the production of stainless steel elbows.

In 1994, obtainment of the ISO 9002 certification released by the D.N.V. - Certificate no. CSQ-3010317 IT.
Introduction of the new "Pratiko" collar in the normal and isophonic version. Consolidation of "Raccorderie Metalliche" presence in Europe where the exported volumes represent a 40%.

In 1995, Company "Raccorderie Metalliche S.p.A." has been operating since 25 years. We thank all the customers of ours for trusting us.
Preparation and analysis of the HOUSEBANK operation with the bank "Cassa di Risparmio di Mirandola".

Inoxpres factory

In 1996, construction and inauguration of the new factory plus executive headoffice on a surface of 46,000 sqm (19,000 are covered). Conclusion of the HOUSEBANK operation with a 15% participation of "Cassa di Risparmio di Mirandola" in the company's capital.

In 1997: achievement of TÜV homologation n. 21315/97.
Company staff reaches 170 employees.
In october Raccorderie Metalliche has established in Spain the company "Inoxpres S.A." to distribute in the spanish and portuguese market our fittings in stainless steel.

In 1998: starts the project "Inoxpres"

In 1999: starts the production of "Inoxpres" and achievement of DVGW-homologation.

In 2000: completion of the range "Inoxpres" until diam. 54 and achievement of CSTB - ETA - SVGW - SITAC - WRAS homologations.

Shipping storehouse

In 2001: enlargement of the plant of Pilastro (3,600 sqm) with all the press-machineries for "cold method forming"
Construction of the new plant for "Inoxpres" of 5,000 sqm for the production of all stainless steel fittings.

In 2002: sale of the primary factory in Levata, were was founded the company.
At the "Mostra Convegno" in Milan has been inaugurated a stand of 250 sqm to promote the pressfitting system "Inoxpres", the new core business for the next 10 years.

In 2005: with the foundation of a new company in Germany, the RM Pressfitting GmbH, Raccorderie Metalliche consolidates its presence and the promotion of the pressfitting systems Inoxpres and Steelpres in the German territory.

In the year 2006 the enlargement of the production facility in Campitello is completed with:
- new warehouse for connection pipes (1,100 m² completely indoor)
- enlargement of the Inoxpres production facility with 1,700 m² indoor.
- building of the bunker for the hydrogen distribution, used for the heat treatment of the Inoxpres pressifttings.
