What are the dimensional characteristics of the O-Rings assembled on pressfitting joints?

All joints have an O-Ring assembled, with the typical profile, a patented lens-shaped section. The special O-Ring sold individually also have the same profile. The section, 20% bigger than the traditional O-Ring with circular-section, performs better, in that:

it fills properly all the interstices, reducing the fluid deposit between the coupling and the clutch;
it significantly reduces damages to the O-Ring while fitting it to the pipe;
it increases the contact surface between the O-Ring and the pipe, significantly reducing risks of spillage of the fluid being conveyed.
